I aim to provide a resource hub for local educators and learners, an information center for parents and guardians and a human connection to all of us.

## Why I Started

Locomojo began with a simple problem every Winchester parent knows well: finding out what’s actually available for your kids — the free story time at the library, the town rec department’s no-school camp, an appropriate music or sport program — usually means piecing it together from a dozen different flyers, Facebook posts, and word of mouth.

I wanted one place where that information lives, is easy to find, and doesn’t cost anything to use.

## What It Does

Locomojo is a community-built guide to educational and enrichment resources in and around Winchester, MA. The website focuses on:

– Free and low-cost programs — because access shouldn’t depend on budget

– Summer and vacation camps — from town-run programs to local specialty camps

– Local resources first — the kinds of things you’d only hear about from a neighbor

Whether you’re planning for a two-week school vacation or trying to fill a whole summer, Locomojo is here to make that planning easier.

## More Than a Resource List

Winchester is a small town, and one of the best things about raising kids here is the community around you. Locomojo is also an attempt to strengthen that — a place where parents can connect, share what’s worked for their family, and pass along the kind of tips that don’t always make it into an official brochure.
